The Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes has launched its 9th Call for Projects, thus continuing the Health Call for Projects initiative that began over 11 years ago in November 2005.
The Health Calls for Projects have highlighted both the excellence of the medical and scientific community on the Cรดte d’Azur and the commitment to maintaining a lead on disease and providing patients with the best care.
A total of 182 innovative projects have been able to materialize, thanks to nearly โฌ26.8 million in funding from the Department.
They have endowed our region with efficient equipment and cutting-edge technologies, enabling decisive progress in areas such as combating cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, disability, rare diseases, and innovation…
This 9th call for projects “Support for medical and scientific teams in the department for technical innovations in the health sector” covers the following topics:
– Screening and treatment of cancer (including childhood cancers);
– Treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and disability (Alzheimer’s disease, loss of autonomy, rare or orphan diseases);
– e-health and new technologies serving the optimization of treatment, continuity of care, and the dissemination of clinical advances;
– Understanding the impact of the environment on health and ways to reduce vulnerability (health determinants, sustainable development, sensitivity, inequality).
These last two themes are new additions and will allow for an expansion of the scope of the Health Calls for Projects and the exploration of new challenges (uses of new technologies in health, environment and health, individual well-being, etc.).
