Campaign meeting at the Acropolis for the National Front

Latest News

This evening at 7 PM, the National Front will hold a public meeting, the first of the electoral campaign. Marie Christine Arnautu, candidate for the mayor of Nice, will welcome MP Marion Marรฉchal-Le Pen, one of the stars of the new generation of the Frontists, in the Marine Le Pen version.

It will be an opportunity for Christian Estrosi’s rival to share her program with the supporters (and voters). There is no doubt that criticisms will be flying towards the national government and the outgoing mayor.

The FN candidate will still have to show that her understanding of the “nissarte” reality is well underway. Nice cannot just be a warm-up for the European elections, which, if we listen to the so-called well-informed, would be the real goal of the Frontist leader.

Even if victory is not within reach, Marie-Christine Arnautu enjoys a favorable wave with a probable backlash vote from the electorate towards the government’s policy and should be able to expect a result that would allow her to participate in the second round, with the cherry on top being to have surpassed the Socialist Party candidate.

To date, the FN is not expected to have any alliances, as former mayor Jacques Peyrat has chosen to pair up with Jean Icart, and Marie-Christine Arnautu is refusing to heed the call of the Identitaires of Philippe Vardon.

If Marion Marรฉchal-Le Pen will surely sound the trumpet, we are most interested in learning more about the strong points of Marie-Christine Arnautu’s program as well as the names of some of her running mates.

A matter of getting to the heart of the matter and moving from critique to proposition.
