On Monday, April 25th, at 6 PM, the gala for the fiftieth anniversary of the Cannes Higher School of Dance will take place at the Debussy Theater in Cannes.
This event will showcase the students of the school, both former and current, and illustrate the diversity of careers stemming from ESDC. The participation of the Cannes PACA Orchestra under the direction of Philippe Bender will enhance the prestige of this event.
The centerpiece of this show, “Petite Symphonie,” will be a creation by internationally renowned choreographer Davide Bombana, performed by the current students of the school to a piece by Franck Martin. The creation at ESDC will also be celebrated with the revival of a ballet by the director-choreographer of the Ballets de Monte Carlo, Jean Christophe Maillot, a former student of the school (Opus 40).
