The Federations of the Socialist Party 06 and the Republican and Citizen Movement 06, following a cooperation initiated during the municipal elections of 2008 and the regional elections of 2010, have decided to conclude an electoral agreement for the cantonal elections of March 2011.
This agreement is part of a strategy to unify the Left and the republicans, necessary to challenge the hegemony of the UMP in this department, and to continue the momentum of victory born during the last regional elections.
Consequently:
– The Socialist Party will support the candidacy of Lucien PONS in the Canton of Puget-Théniers
– The MRC will support the socialist candidates in the other renewable cantons
