CANTONALES 2011: support from the ecologists for Dominique Boy-Mottard (PRG) candidate in the 7th canton of Nice

Dominique Boy-Mottard:
“As I mentioned before, it is somewhat disheartening that, among all the left-wing incumbents, I am the only one facing an opponent in the first round from the far-left supported by the Communist Party and a Green candidate.
The fact that I am the only female general councilor in Nice adds even more to the absurdity of the situation.
But, fortunately, many voters and activists, disregarding the illogical logic of the political machinery, have expressed their desire for unity to avoid the risk of a repeat of April 21st in the 7th canton.
Thus, two of the most prominent environmentalist elected officials in the department have decided to publicly support me. They are Jean-Raymond Vinciguerra, the only environmentalist general councilor of Alpes-Maritimes, and Rémi Gaechter, the only NCA community councilor for the Greens and municipal councilor of Nice.
I thank them for their trust and especially for their ability to prioritize the issues.
With their support, along with that of the Socialist Party and the Republican and Citizen Movement, my candidacy is beginning to strongly resemble a unity candidacy…”
