Since its opening in 1969, the Cap 3000 shopping center has been one of the largest shopping centers in the Azurean region. Nestled between the banks of the Var River and the Mediterranean beaches, in 2009, it aims to offer a glimpse into the lives of the people of Nice over nearly 40 years through fashion. Nice Premium invites you to discover or rediscover a preview of 1970s fashion and decoration that will leave you anything but indifferent.
The Exhibitions
You will be able to see dresses from the biggest names as well as the haute couture collection of Anoushka. She began as a model for Helmut Newton or Robert Mapplethorpe and walked for Jean-Paul Gaultier or “Comme des Garçons” in the early 1980s. Passionate about fashion and understanding the growing importance of archives as a source of inspiration for creators, she put together a “vintage” collection that quickly grew with numerous couture pieces. A reference and source of inspiration for designers and creators, she also creates costumes for many feature and short films for cinema and advertising. Based in Paris, behind the Opéra, her collection boasts over 30,000 pieces of clothing and accessories for men and women, dating from 1920 to the present day. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of CAP3000, Anoushka
has selected for you 16 silhouettes representative of the work of great designers from the 70s to today.
