This Thursday, June 28, welcome A.JAM, a jazz group scheduled within the framework of the NICE JAZZ FESTIVAL!
A.JAM is the artistic and friendly meeting of four high school students from Nice, students at the Conservatory in the jazz section. The group is composed of 15-year-old pianist Noé Zagroun, accompanied by 16-year-old drummer Adam Taride, who has a Serbian musical education, as well as 17-year-old lead singer Joséphine Schütte. The quartet is completed by 18-year-old bassist Andréas Salon. The young group benefits from a family-like atmosphere conducive to creativity and excellent musical influences: Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Hocus Pocus, The Roots, Erykah Badu… They are also the winners of the “Made in Riviera” contest and are preparing to celebrate their holidays with music!
On the Terrace of Cap3000, A.JAM will represent the Nice Jazz Festival, which will take place from July 8 to 12. The first jazz festival created in France in 1948, it is internationally renowned, notably through high-quality programming, the selection of an artistic director, Harry Lapp, and the choice of a new location, right in the heart of the city at the Verdure Theater and in the Albert 1st Garden.
