It is an enormous figure: 8.3 million caregivers in France, with a caregiver being a person who regularly provides assistance, on a non-professional basis, to perform some or all of the daily life activities of a person with reduced autonomy.
During this day of discussions and reflections, Charles-Ange Ginรฉsy reaffirmed that “policies in favor of people with disabilities are a central focus of departmental solidarity policies.”
As a reminder, 30% of the budget is allocated to solidarity.
