On April 2 and 3, 2011, in Falicon, the 26th edition of the Carnation Festival is themed this year ‘Painting in all its forms’.

The festival, which evolves each year, retains its primary concept: to promote the carnation, enhance its distribution and reputation, and also help the local growers present their new production.
The program for these two floral days includes: a children’s village, fashion shows, parades of flower-decorated scooters, stalls and entertainment, performances…
Also, there will be 3 exhibition rooms decorated according to the theme of ‘Pop’Arts’, with the participation of Daniel Pichon, a Best Craftsman of France in Building Painting, and a tribute to Faliconnais painters.
Each year, the commune graciously receives 150 bundles of 80 various carnations offered by the horticulturists of Alpes-Maritimes and Var, which are then showcased by volunteers, artists, and municipal agents…
