Last night around 8 PM, the king and queen of the carnival hit the road to take their place at Masséna Square on the eve of the carnival. They will open the festivities on Saturday morning around 9 AM.
On the occasion of the Nice Carnival 2018 festivities, traffic and parking restrictions are in place.
The king and queen will be accompanied by other floats, each as futuristic as the next.

The schedule of events is as follows:
Battle of Flowers from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
On Saturdays, February 17th, 24th, and March 3rd, and on Wednesdays, February 21st and 28th
Illuminated Parade from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM
On Saturdays, February 17th, 24th, and March 3rd; on Tuesdays, February 20th and 27th
Carnival Parade from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
On Sunday, February 25th
