Until February 16, the Carrefour stores in Nice (Nice Lingostière Hypermarket, Nice TNL, and the Market stores in the area) are mobilizing to support the Pièces Jaunes operation by providing their customers and employees with collection boxes at the registers to receive donations.
For this thirtieth edition, the sponsor of the operation is the coach of the football world champions, Didier Deschamps.
An Operation of Solidarity Commended by the French
For 30 years, Pièces Jaunes has been a solidarity operation that has become a true event for the French people. It contributes to the funding of parents’ houses and parent-child rooms in hospitals, improves the reception and comfort of hospitalized children and adolescents, and brings families closer to the place of hospitalization.
Since its launch, the Pièces Jaunes operation has supported nearly 8,780 projects in 464 cities, benefiting 692 establishments and 1,885 services.
More than 98,000 small collection boxes and 290 giant collection boxes will be deployed in Carrefour stores.
The brand has been committed for 18 years alongside the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France in the context of the Pièces Jaunes operation to finance more and more projects in favor of sick children and adolescents and to improve their daily lives in the hospital. Since 2003, 140 tons of coins have been collected in our stores, allowing us to raise €1,540,000.
