Organized by the Federation for Brain Research (FRC), the national Neurodon campaign takes place from March 21 to 29. A fundraising initiative is held in the Carrefour hypermarkets in Nice (Lingostière and TNL).
This awareness and fundraising campaign contributes to the funding of research on the brain and its diseases.
This charitable initiative will allow customers of the store who wish to make a donation to do so with a donation coupon worth €2. They simply need to present it at the checkout. It will be added to the total amount of their purchases and donated to the FRC.
Since 2002, Carrefour has supported the effort of the Federation for Brain Research and its volunteers through this national fundraising campaign that takes place during Brain Week. These donations will help finance research, expand knowledge about the brain, find treatments for its diseases, and ultimately cure them.
A positive outcome from the Neurodon collection in Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores
In 2014, during the National Neurodon Campaign, €105,712 were collected from customers of Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores. Since the beginning of the partnership, the brand has gathered over €1.2 million, thus contributing to the financing of 37 research programs.
