The year-end celebrations are conducive to beautiful stories and it is one of these stories that allowed the Food Bank of Alpes-Maritimes to receive a grant of โฌ5,000 from the Carrefour Corporate Foundation.
As part of the 50th anniversary of Carrefour hypermarkets in France, the teams from the Carrefour store in Nice TNL came together in support of BA06 to back a local food solidarity project: equipping the association with a new refrigerated vehicle.
The goal? To create a mobile solidarity grocery store aimed at supplying the inhabitants in great difficulty in the hinterland of Nice.
The store then sought the support of the people of Nice on the website www.carrefour.fr. The project gathered 4,778 “likes” and is therefore awarded the sum of โฌ5,000 by the Carrefour Corporate Foundation.
