Already twinned with the Italian town of San Giustino since 1982, Carros will officially establish its twinning with the town of Grodzisk Mazowiecki in Poland, which is located in the Warsaw region, this Saturday.
Thus, the two communities will have the opportunity to better organize exchange projects in all areas (culture, tourism, heritage, economy, youth, sport…) within the framework of a united Europe.
This initiative was led by Charles Scibetta, mayor of Carros, Grzegorz Benedykcinski, mayor of Grodzisk, with the assistance of Michel Forkasiewicz, honorary consul of Poland in Nice. Reciprocal visits have allowed for the finalization of the details of the twinning.
The signing ceremony of the twinning will take place at the Juliette Gréco hall in Carros, followed by a piano recital by the Polish virtuoso Marek Bracha.
