Last day of the Cinéalma festival, which screened 37 films including 21 that were new or premieres, representing 14 countries (France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Macedonia, Greece).

The 2019 Cinéalma program thus maintained its strong roots in the Mediterranean basin by representing and promoting the diversity of cultural expressions, with emphasis on Moroccan cinema, which is experiencing strong dynamism.

Algerian cinema was also present with the latest films from established directors.

The Cinéalma festival paid tribute to Tunisia (represented with 4 films) by associating with the sad event experienced by a friendly festival (the Carthage Film Days) due to the passing of their general director, Nejib Ayed.

Cinéalma confirmed its commitment to the values of peace, exchange, and dialogue, and to the spirit of conviviality that has driven it since its inception.
