Since the 2014/2015 season, OGC Nice has supported each summer the “Caravan of Sport” organized by the Olympic and Sports Departmental Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes (CDOS 06). An event promoting sports participation among all the children of the department.
On the occasion of the Nice-Rennes match this Friday, the Caravan of Sport will make a stop on the forecourt of the Allianz Riviera starting at 4 PM.
Indeed, for the first time, the Caravan of Sport will make a stop on the forecourt of the Allianz Riviera, where it will complement the traditional range of activities.
Organized by CDOS 06, in partnership with the Departmental Council, this tour visited 24 communes of the Alpes-Maritimes this summer.
The program includes an introduction to many sports: athletics, baseball/softball, fencing, golf, gymnastics, field hockey, karate, and table tennis. Several booths will also be accessible: one for first aid training, led by the firefighters of Alpes-Maritimes (SDIS 06); another called “Red card to violence”; as well as a space dedicated to the Volunteers Program for the 2019 Women’s World Cup, for which Nice will be a Host City.
