Since Saturday, November 19th, the City of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis have been celebrating this European Week for Waste Reduction. You can attend numerous events for the rest of the week.
This week of awareness on waste reduction offers many public events across the entire metropolitan area. The aim is to propose alternatives for waste management to encourage the public to adopt environmentally friendly behavior. After a busy weekend, the week continues with events that encourage every individual’s responsibility in this endeavor.
- Friday, November 25th – Schools of Belvédère (Vallée de la Vésubie) & Auron (Vallée de la Tinée): Educational activities on composting and food waste.
- Friday, November 25th – Marshall Garden in Nice from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM: Awareness session on local collective composting by a prevention facilitator. This garden offers collective composters.
- Saturday, November 26th – Saint Antoine de Ginestière from 8 AM to 12 PM: “Mobile Green Waste Collection Platform” operation with a stand on waste prevention awareness.
These events are entirely free and open to everyone. Feel free to participate in this eco-responsible week.
