As part of the national celebration of the bicentenary of composer Robert Schumann (1810-1856), the City of Nice and its National Conservatory of Regional Influence invite you to a week of exceptional concerts.
On the program, a true tribute to the works of this great composer, as well as a musical show: “Clara Schumann” featuring his wife, who was also a pianist and composer.
Tuesday, November 23 at 2:30 PM: Around Schumann’s “Advice to Young Musicians”
Pieces by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Brahms.
Tuesday, November 23 at 6:30 PM: Chamber music and piano
Chamber music and piano classes. Presentation of the pieces by the students of specialized music training classes.
Wednesday, November 24 at 6:30 PM: Schumann’s Lieder
Classes of singing, piano, dramatic arts.
Thursday, November 25 at 8 PM: “Clara Schumann”
A musical show staged and performed by Isabelle Servol. Musical concept by Alain Joutard. In collaboration with students and teachers from the Nice Conservatory. Co-production: “Théâtre de lumière” and “Solisti vocalis”.
Friday, November 26 at 2:30 PM: “The Youth Album” by Schumann
Piano pieces and arrangements for guitars, percussions. Various instrumentations by the students of writing and music training classes.
Saturday, November 27 at 3 PM: symphonic orchestra of students conducted by Philippe Dulat- Françoise Chaffiaud
Schumann’s concerto.
Monday, November 29 at 6 PM: Kosma Evening
By the teachers of the Conservatory: Schumann’s chamber music.
