A beautiful day to celebrate the Chinese New Year awaits you starting from 4 PM at Museaav at 16 Bis, Place Garibaldi in Nice, on Saturday, February 13, 2010, beginning with a slideshow entitled “Ancient and Modern China.”
This travelogue in images illustrates a journey made during the cultural trip organized by Chine Horizon, showcasing the splendors of the past and the contemporary realities of China’s eternal natural, cultural, economic, and social heritage. This slideshow will be presented by Mr. Sylvain Fournier, a member of the Society of Arts and Sciences.

A snack will be served during intermission for a convivial moment (tea and Chinese cookies).
Followed at 6 PM by an opening of the photo exhibition “China, Wonders and Contrasts” by Mrs. Ling HSU. The opening will take place in the presence of the cultural affairs officer of the Chinese Consulate in Marseille. The photos have been revisited with a sensitivity and an unusual, sometimes surreal vision of the Chinese world, observed through the richness of its heritage and the daily life of its inhabitants.
