Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, Gaston Franco, Member of the European Parliament, Regional Councillor of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA), Mayor of Saint Martin Vésubie, and Claude Guigo, Mayor of Venanson, Vice-President of the Vésubie-Mercantour Community of Communes, will preside over the ceremonies organized on the occasion of the national holiday on July 14, in the presence of Colonel André Petillot, Commander of the Alpes-Maritimes Gendarmerie Group.
On this occasion, the GRIMP Firefighters will perform demonstrations of inaccessible fire fighting.
This year, aerial maneuvers will complement the ground operations with exercises involving water bomber helicopter drops.
The traditional ground parade will showcase both current and historical rescue vehicles.
