FRANCE PARKINSON is an association created in 1984 by Professor Yves Agid and recognized as being of public utility. With a network of over 70 local committees, more than 450 volunteers, and over 10,000 members/donors, the social missions of FRANCE PARKINSON aim to support and assist patients and their caregivers, provide information about the disease, treatments, and support, raise awareness among the public and authorities, and invigorate research.

As Pablo Casals said, โ€œMusic drives hate away from those who are without love. It gives peace to those who are restless, it consoles those who weep.โ€

Building on this statement, the womenโ€™s vocal ensemble of the Cรดte dโ€™Azur “Les Choralines06,” directed since its inception in 2013 by Isabella BAรCCHI, a lyrical artist whose teaching method focuses on imparting the knowledge of the Italian Bel Canto school, is organizing a prestigious concert. The event features the participation of sopranist Jรฉrรฉmy BERTINI and Nelly FOURCADE on the piano, this Saturday, February 17, at 4 PM, at the Temple of Saint-Esprit, 21 Blvd Victor Hugo.

This concert is being held for the benefit of the France Parkinson committee in Nice, aiming to develop communication efforts for greater visibility in our region, Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur, where the disease affects more than 21,000 people according to the France Parkinson association.

Given the number of people affected by Parkinson’s disease, it turns out that very few patients or caregivers are aware of the actions of the France Parkinson Committee in Nice.
