Once again this year, the association AB HARMONIAE Nice is organizing a lyrical gala to carry out solidarity actions for those who are suffering. The profits from this gala will allow music and lyrical singing to be brought to places of suffering such as the palliative care unit of the Archet Hospital, the Nice detention center, and the Pauliani Foundation retirement home.
The demand from such establishments is a reality that the association AB HARMONIAE Onlus faces during each of its visits and demonstrates that associative efforts play an essential role in alleviating suffering.
This event is supported by the City of Nice, which provides the prestigious opera hall, the full Philharmonic Orchestra, and its conductor at the disposal of AB HARMONIAE Onlus.
The mission of the association AB HARMONIAE Onlus is to bring music into places of suffering: hospitals, retirement homes, reintegration communities, youth shelter centers, but also places of confinement: detention centers and, in general, all those who need spaces for distraction.
Nearly a dozen musical interventions are made possible each year thanks to the proceeds of a gala like this one. AB HARMONIAE Onlus brings together a “family” of artists who share the association’s statutory spirit, which is to offer their talent for FREE for solidarity causes.
This event is a unique opportunity for ALL the protagonists to participate in a CULTURAL SOLIDARITY ACTION: the organizing association, of course, fulfilling its statutory mission, the artists through their selfless performance, the sponsors and partners through their support, primarily the City of Nice, but also and especially the public by purchasing their ticket…
Another mission of the association AB HARMONIAE Onlus is to discover and make known young and genuine lyrical talents encountered on global stages, and here seven promising young artists will sing famous opera arias and duets.
Young artists, mostly Italians, come to perform in a country that is not theirs, ultimately bringing a bit of joy to elderly people, secluded individuals, or terminally ill patients they do not know, which is a fine example of international and/or intergenerational solidarity.
