Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, has been elected President of the Joint Syndicate of the House of Artificial Intelligence (S2MIA).
This joint syndicate, formed by the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community, the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the University of Côte d’Azur, aims to create, manage, develop, and promote the house of artificial intelligence (AI) which is part of a national dynamic with the creation of interdisciplinary institutes of Artificial Intelligence, including the 3IA Côte d’Azur.
For Charles Ange Ginésy, President of S2MIA: “We are in a changing world, and Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of this transformation. The House of Artificial Intelligence, which brings together the forces of the territory, in the continuity of the 50 years of Sophia Antipolis, should enable us to contribute a piece to the French chessboard, to take a national initiative, and to drive a real dynamic.”
The inauguration of the House of Artificial Intelligence is scheduled for next month.*
This space is thus intended to allow, in particular, public or private institutional actors, middle school, high school, and university students, as well as any individual or entity wishing to understand the new possibilities offered by artificial intelligence, the presentation and dissemination of expert and relevant information to promote the emergence of innovative projects or evolutions based on technological progress in the Maralpin territory.
