The Alpes-Maritimes department continues its efforts to counter the pandemic and has decided to launch its departmental vaccination campaign this Thursday for people over 75 years old.

For Charles Ange Ginésy, the message is clear: *”The people of the Maritimes will have the same right of access to the vaccine, whether they live on the coast or in the medium and high country.”* This Thursday, department 06 launched its departmental COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Puget-Théniers for seniors over 75 years old.

For the president of Alpes-Maritimes, it is *“a strong action. The Departmental Council is in solidarity with all intercommunalities, agglomerations, towns, and villages in our territory.”* In total, eight fixed departmental centers and branches equipped with mobile teams will be deployed in 83 communes of department 06.

These fixed departmental centers will be open in Puget-Théniers, Roquestéron, Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, Vence, Contes, L’Escarène, Sospel, and Breil-sur-Roya. The branches will operate on half or full days and will be deployed in Valberg, Guillaumes, Villars-sur-Var, Coursegoules, Saint-Auban, and Peille.

Appointments will be made online through Doctolib or via the departmental green number available now, with a team from the department making appointments on behalf of individuals on Doctolib, assigning a vaccination site and a time slot.
