From November 14 to 17, the Quai des ร‰tats-Unis in Nice is hosting the “Chocolat et Saveurs dโ€™exception” fair.

Even though the bad weather was once again present on the Cรดte d’Azur, visitors turned out in large numbers this Saturday morning to attend the “Chocolat et Saveurs dโ€™exception” fair. With 41 stands offering a wide variety of products, food enthusiasts have plenty to delight their taste buds. And it’s not the rain that’s going to stop them.

Welcomed by artisans from all over France, the people of Nice have the opportunity to discover dishes they don’t eat every day, like the Basque cake or duck confit.

Plates, shoes, wrenches, fashion accessories, or even a statue of Master Yoda, chocolate is transformed into all sorts of objects. As the true star of the event, it naturally holds an important place in this fair. But it didn’t come alone, as it shares the spotlight with nougats, macarons, fruit jellies, foie gras, wines, and other spirits. Something to please a wide audience.

Since indulgence knows no age, children can also join in the fun. By making decorative icings, gingerbread houses, and many other creations, they can take their works home.

Finally, from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM, five professionals in gastronomy offer activities themed “Chocolat et Saveurs dโ€™exception.โ€ Their demonstrations of expertise are followed by tastings.

Sweet treat enthusiasts have until Monday, November 17, at 7 PM to go to the Quai des ร‰tats-Unis on the Promenade des Anglais to satisfy their cravings.
