Faced with a Covid-19 positivity rate that has increased sixfold in recent days, the ever-growing number of citations for not wearing a mask, and to address comments questioning a lack of communication about the area covered by the prefectural decree, the Mayor of Nice has asked the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes to extend the obligation to wear a mask in public spaces to the entire city of Nice.
