The Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolis, and Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur Region, held a press conference at the Vaccination Center of the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure to announce new measures.
He was accompanied by Dr. Richard Chemla, deputy delegate for health, ecology, and well-being, Dr. Hervรฉ Caรซl, municipal councilor subdelegate for health centers and relations with health establishments, Barbara Prot, municipal councilor subdelegate for prevention and health education, and Vรฉronique Borrรฉ, director of the Agency for Health, Environmental Safety, and Risk Management.
Christian Estrosi is opening the third dose of Covid-19 injections to the entire population. The City of Nice and the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolis are offering people of all ages, who received their second dose six months ago or more, to come to a vaccination center for a booster shot.
From December 1st, between 5 PM and 6 PM, remaining doses will be available to previously non-eligible individuals. An appointment will be required on the site vaccincovid19.nice.fr, by selecting the desired date and time, or by calling 04 97 13 56 00.
The two existing vaccination centers are located at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure and the Hancy Center, particularly for people with reduced mobility. A new center will soon open at 22 Quai Lunel.
It will be possible to get vaccinated against the flu simultaneously, provided the product is brought along.
Christian Estrosi toured the vaccination center and congratulated the Niรงois present. And while reiterating his support for the government, the Mayor of Nice announced that in response to an increase in the number of cases, he will not hesitate to impose new restrictions.
