The City of Nice honored the local officials who were mobilized on the evening of July 14th, but Christian Estrosi is asking for more: recognition at the highest level of the State.
He also sent a list of municipal police officers to the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes last September. So far, there has been no follow-up.
For him, this injustice must end and the Government should finally provide recognition to municipal police officers just like their national police colleagues.
This is yet another occasion to spark a new controversy with the Government, and more specifically with Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, his adversary since that fateful day.
How will he manage after May 9th when Bernard Cazeneuve will no longer be Prime Minister?
