The Force Ouvrière union of the Nice University Hospital (CHU de Nice) has been actively advocating for several weeks to demand the granting of the special €1500 bonus planned following the Covid crisis period.
A delegation led by the combative Michel Fuentes, general secretary of the Force Ouvrière union at the Nice University Hospital, was received the day before yesterday by municipal councilor Hervé Cael.
The delegation reiterated its demands, specifically requesting the generalization of the Covid-19 bonus to all employees and the granting of the residency allowance.
They found support from Christian Estrosi, who is also the Chairman of the oversight council of the university hospital: “I have been committed to supporting our local health actors since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic. I pay particular attention to the staff of our university hospital, their working conditions, and their recognition.”
Since being generous with promises costs nothing, Christian Estrosi committed “to reaching out to the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, so that the State can quickly amend the decree allowing for a broader allocation of the Covid-19 bonus to the employees of the Nice University Hospital.”
