It is quite naturally that the Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is elected President of the Nice Tourism and Convention Office with Rudy Salles as Vice-President.
Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, and Rudy Salles, Deputy, Deputy Mayor of Nice, Delegate for Tourism and International Relations, were respectively elected President and Vice-President of the Nice Tourism and Convention Office at its constitutive Assembly.
Christian Estrosi emphasized that “in view of the opening of the future exhibition center in the Var plain, business tourism constitutes a particularly important axis just as the integration of the metropolitan dimension, whose competencies will evolve towards territorial autonomy for economic promotion and tourism.”
E.P.I.C. (Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment) since 1994, the Nice City Tourism and Convention Office is attached to the city of Nice, the supervising local authority. Its Board of Directors is composed of 50 members (25 full members, 25 alternates), 13 elected officials from the city of Nice, and 12 representatives of local tourism professions, designated by the Municipal Council.
