The interview of the Mayor of Nice with the local newspaper, featuring the thundering headline “I have always fought the FN,” could not go unanswered by the National Front hierarchy.
And the scathing response has arrived: Marie-Christine Arnautu did not hold back in responding to Christian Estrosi swiftly!
The deputy mayor of Nice seems to exist only by and through the National Front. The sole subject of the interview published today in Nice-Matin on a full page is indeed… the National Front.
According to Christian Estrosi, it seems that the first party of France is his one and only point of interest and, in his view, the main problem for the French people.
Immigration? Insecurity? Islamism? Mass unemployment? Poverty? The confiscation of our sovereignty by Brussels? None of this seems to concern him at all.
Since having a true opposition, embodied by the elected members of the National Front, in Nice’s municipal and metropolitan councils, Christian Estrosi believes he has found a foil and finally feels like he exists in the media.
However, he should not be under any illusions; the voters of the Alpes-Maritimes will remind him that the Sarkozy-Ciotti-Estrosi system is now at the end of its run. However, he should continue talking about us because during that time, we are speaking to all our compatriots.
