In an interview with Nice-Matin, Rudy Salles stated that French flags had been burned at the Bastille on the evening of May 6. This accusation amounts to slander and defamation.
The photo of a French flag burned by radicals that circulated on the internet was several years old and was taken in Toulouse. It had nothing to do with the Socialist Party.
This photo is almost as old as that of Rudy Salles parading under another flag: that of the FN.
In the name of the Socialist Party that I represent in the legislative elections, I demand an apology from Mr. Rudy Salles for this lie unworthy of a deputy.
