The North Central Nice Territory offers, on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14, 2008, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, in collaboration with associations and neighborhood committees, two days of activities around Christmas in the main squares of the neighborhood:
• Breakfast with complimentary brioche,
• Distribution of candies,
• Pony rides,
• Face painting stands,
• Dance and Christmas song performances,
• Inflatable structures,
• Tea dance,
• And demonstration by a chocolatier on Saturday, December 13 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Gorbella Leisure Activities Center!
A small Christmas Train will connect, in a loop and for free, Boyer and Doyen Lépine squares to Alexandre Médecin and Fontaine du Temple squares, so that the people of Nice can discover or rediscover their neighborhood.
On these four sites, small Christmas villages will be open to crafts with figurines, jewelry, and regional products… Santa Claus will also be present to distribute sweets to the children.

Square Boyer – 1:00 pm / 5:00 pm
– Wide selection of products offered by artisans,
– Distribution of candies to children by Santa Claus,
– “Venice” exhibition on digital art (photos, videos, graphic arts, poetic and psychedelic expressions),
– Barrel organ,
– Inflatable structure for children.
Square Doyen Lépine – 10:00 am / 5:00 pm
– Activities for children,
– At 10:00 am, breakfast,
– At 11:00 am, collection of children’s letters to Santa Claus,
– At 2:00 pm, musical activities,
– At 3:00 pm, arrival of Santa Claus and distribution of candies.
Place Alexandre Médecin – 9:30 am / 5:00 pm
– Activities for children (pony rides, inflatable structure, face painting…),
– Christmas market with artisans’ stalls (jewelry, figurines, paintings, regional products…),
– Dance and song performances presented by children from the Gorbella and Vallon des Fleurs Leisure Activity Centers.
Place Fontaine du Temple – 9:30 am / 5:00 pm
– Activities by the association C2 l’Art: painting, crafts, sale of trees…
At CAL Gorbella – Saturday, December 13 – 2:00 pm / 5:00 pm
– 2:30 pm, demonstration by a chocolatier and Christmas carols from around the world,
– 3:00 pm. Tea dance, with the Lucky Star Association.
Lunch on site available: €20 for lunch and tea dance, or, at 3:00 pm, tea dance only (€10 including drink).

At the Prieuré du Vieux Logis – Saturday, December 13 – from 7:00 pm
– Torchlight procession.
On this day of Saint Lucy, the Association of Residents of the St Barthélémy neighborhoods and surroundings, along with the friends of the Prieuré du Vieux Logis, organize a torchlight procession.
Meet in front of the Prieuré Museum, distribution of lanterns, and walk through the neighborhood via Bd Gorbella, Villa Arson. Arrival in front of St Barthélémy church around 9:00 pm. A warm wine and chocolate will be offered to participants within the cloister.
In the Church of Saint Barthélémy – Sunday, December 14 3:00 pm / 5:00 pm
– Concert “from Purcell to Haydn, exploring a Baroque Europe”
The Association of Residents of Saint Barthélémy neighborhoods and surroundings and the Friends of the Prieuré du Vieux Logis present a concert in the Church of Saint Barthélémy.
€2 for those over 18 / Free entry for those under 18.
