Each year, the members of the Maison des Solidarités et du Partage ‘Le Village’ organize a meal for the end-of-year holidays.
This meal is prepared as part of cooking workshops organized within the ‘Village’. Volunteer cooks equally divide the shopping list among themselves.
Members will be able to savor and enjoy this meal in a festive atmosphere. Traditional Christmas desserts will be offered by the CCAS: yule logs, mandarins, papillotes, and chocolate Santas for the youngest ones…
To conclude this meal, slideshows and video clips, created by the ‘Village’ team and partner associations ‘Grain de sable’ and ‘La Boîte’, will be shown to participants to illustrate a year of activities with images.
“Souvenir” DVDs made possible through the financial assistance of the Lien Social Niçois association will be graciously distributed to each member family’s attendees on the same day.

In 2008, the Communal Social Action Center and the City of Nice inaugurated ‘Le Village’ – Maison des Solidarités et du Partage, a social center aimed at empowering the residents of the Ariane neighborhood.
‘Le Village’ draws on the rich resources of the Ariane neighborhood, enabling residents, regardless of age or origin, to take charge of their lives and participate in improving the living environment of their neighborhood.
It is also a space of active citizenship where women, young people, families, and seniors are invited to take part in workshops, meetings, volunteer actions, and moments of sharing offered by the Village, as well as initiate their own projects.
-Association Le Lien Social Niçois: The “Lien Social Niçois” association, established in 2004 and presided over by Mr. Guillon, aims to:
· foster social connection within the city of Nice,
· enhance intergenerational relationships,
· promote all initiatives aimed at the well-being of individuals welcomed or in difficulty.
