Organized by the Héliotrope association, the Nice European Short Film Festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary with many new events and programs.
Mark your calendars from October 9 to 16!
Un festival c’est trop court! is an emerging festival on the French Riviera, bringing together the best of young European creativity for 8 days each year through numerous competitive programs centered around a cinematic genre, the short film: competitions, special screenings, professional meetings, and musical evenings!
In 2000, Un festival c’est trop court! was created with a dual purpose: to affirm social diversity and audience crossover by promoting openness and accessibility to culture through the 7th art.
Four competitions: European, Experimental, Local Shorts, and Animated Shorts.
Out of competition: SNCF Polar Prize – Spotlight on Croatia – Special “15 years” Program – Scopitone – School Screenings
At the heart of the festival, the official selection this year presents 82 films showcasing around twenty nationalities.
Divided into 4 competitions: European, Experimental, Local Shorts, and Animated Shorts, the films will be judged by professional juries awarding more than a dozen prizes.
Still out of competition, thematic sessions return in full force.
Focusing on music and dance, discover Mélodies Ponctuelles, a free and open access program, as well as Polar Express, an international selection showcasing the “cream of the crime.”
