In this story of friendship that evolves into love, Renaud Fely has chosen to let time take its course. Time for the characters to discover each other and confess their traumas. Laura Smet shines brightly and with sensitivity, undoubtedly delivering one of her best performances, while Yannick Renier plays a very endearing role.
The film intentionally maintains a slow pace with beautiful imagery that highlights nature and locations. An accompanying soundtrack evokes a certain lyricism. To say that all this conveys emotion to the viewer goes beyond reality. However, the narrative is imbued with a sensitivity that cannot leave one indifferent. Ultimately, this film is worth watching and, why not… appreciated.
