When it’s Wednesday, it’s cinema time. Today, we offer you our selection of films for the week, to best guide you through the dark halls.

1. The Flash by Andy Muschietti

Barry embarks on a dangerous adventure the moment he uses his superpowers to go back in time to alter the past. Tampering with the past inevitably impacts the future. In an attempt to save his family, he finds himself in a threatening alternate reality. A world where General Zod is back, threatening to destroy the planet, and where superheroes have disappeared.

2. The Peace Process by Ilan Klipper

Spending their whole lives together no matter what, that was their pact. But how do you keep that promise when you can’t stand each other anymore despite the existing love? In order to stay together, Marie and Simon get creative and take matters into their own hands. They then embark on creating a list of rules they call the Universal Charter of Couples’ Rights.

3. Fifi by Jeanne Aslan and Paul Saintillan

Sophie, nicknamed “Fifi,” 15 years old, lives in social housing in Nancy. The chaotic family environment she grows up in makes her yearn for something else. As summer begins, she accidentally meets her friend Jade, who is about to go on vacation. Thatโ€™s when she secretly takes the keys to the lovely house with a garden located in the deserted city center, belonging to her friend’s parents. Comfortably settled in her new place, she is surprised by the early return of Jade’s older brother, Stรฉphane, 23 years old.

4. Stars At Noon by Claire Denis

Trish, a young American journalist played by Margaret Qualley, works as a correspondent in Nicaragua during the electoral period. Stranded in the country without a passport, she meets a mysterious Englishman in a hotel bar. This encounter marks a turning point in her stay. Between hope, sex, and passion, she realizes too late that she has stepped into a dangerous world. The French feature film, winner of the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, is a cinematic adaptation of the eponymous novel by Denis Johnson.

5. Carmen by Benjamin Millepied

Carmen, a young Mexican woman, attempts to cross the American border, a gateway to the City of Angels. It’s then that she encounters an American patrol and escapes with the unexpected help of Aidan, a young ex-marine who saves her life by killing one of his own. Now forever linked, they head together to Los Angeles, pursued by the authorities. With this feature film, the choreographer and director offers a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic opera.
