Latest News

CineNasty, the cult evenings on the Côte d’Azur organized by the team Les Méduses, is a monthly event scheduled on Saturday evenings at 8:30 PM at the oldest operating cinema in Nice, the Mercury.

From DeLoreans on Place Garibaldi for the screening of Back to the Future, to a Pin-up parade for the screening of Grease, a horde of zombies for Night of the Living Dead, or a theater full of vampires for Bram Stoker’s Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola.

CineNasty embodies the spirit and conviviality of neighborhood cinema screenings. Ushers, in-theater animations, great atmosphere, hilarious trailers in the pre-show, and cult films! Many directors have come to present their latest films to the people of Nice in various seasons, including Dario Argento, Jan Kounen, Bruce La Bruce, and Xavier Gens.

For its fifth season, the festivities will open with Phantom of the Paradise by Brian De Palma, presented in a freshly restored digital copy by Solaris Distribution (40th anniversary) on Saturday, February 22 at 8:30 PM at the Le Mercury cinema.
