The Roya Citoyenne association is calling for a rally this Saturday at 5 PM at Place Garibaldi.
This call follows the assault on one of the association’s members on April 14th. This person, who was hosting and assisting migrants with their administrative procedures, was attacked at his home in Contes by about fifteen young people, some armed with knives. They completely destroyed his vehicle, the windows of his apartment, and he was hospitalized.
He is suffering from a head injury and several bruises. The migrants present were traumatized by this act, which follows a previous assault a few weeks earlier.
To denounce these facts, Roya Citoyenne will rally this Saturday.
