In Nice and the surrounding department, the “Citizens for the Climate” groups have implemented various actions, including marches, alternative villages, activities, and gatherings open to everyone.
Numerous associations working towards the ecological transition were mobilized on-site to present their solutions.
In parallel with these mobilizations, the groups from the 06 department have engaged in a joint effort to make progress locally, in a coordinated manner.
Three actions have been undertaken: the request for the establishment of a public collective composting service for the entire department, joint actions against the OpenSky project in Sophia-Antipolis (in support of the mysophiaantipolis collective), and finally a long-term effort aimed at ensuring compliance with the climate laws and commitments made by the local authorities.
