Unis-Cité, the pioneering association of Civic Service in France, continues its recruitment of young people (16-25 years old) from all backgrounds, who wish to be useful to others.
In Nice, Unis-Cité offers 40 volunteer positions, 4 days a week, for 8 months starting from October 14th. The youth will be recruited solely based on their motivation; no diploma or skills are required.
Grouped into teams, the volunteers will embark on 2 to 3 useful and impactful missions from the beginning of the term during their service: friendly visits to isolated elderly people, raising awareness among modest families about eco-friendly actions, educating children from disadvantaged neighborhoods about fruits during snack times, access to rights for vulnerable people, and more.
They will be trained to successfully carry out these missions and will learn to manage projects while meeting people they may not have otherwise encountered (the beneficiaries of their actions, other volunteers, leaders of associations, businesses, local communities, etc.).
By allowing them to explore diverse social realities and meet people from all walks of life, this experience helps to understand that the diversity of our society is a strength.
