The organization UNIS-CITE enables young volunteers to devote a phase of their life to solidarity.
Since the fall of 2010, 28 volunteers have been performing their civic service in Nice.
Aged 18 to 25 and coming from various social, cultural, and educational backgrounds, they undertake solidarity projects with 12 local entities and actively engage in serving causes of general civic interest.
To energize this civic approach, the organization proposes that local elected officials unite with the youth through civic sponsorship.
This exchange will allow the young volunteers to gain a fresh perspective on politics while enabling the officials to compare the youth policies led by the Region with the volunteers’ experiences.
