“Click and Collect Nice-style”: recycling, jewelry, and Co!

Latest News

Nice Premium is committed to supporting small Nice merchants with a new section entitled “Click and Collect Niรงois.” The principle is simple: to help local small merchants affiliated with the “click and collect” system to gain visibility during this health crisis and as the end-of-year holidays approach.

Originally created in 2008, this group was intended for exchanges and garage sale events. Since early November, it has been exclusively reserved for announcements and publications from merchants in Click and Collect. The goal is to disseminate as many announcements as possible to allow Nice residents to shop at these stores, all while respecting health guidelines, of course. Jewelry, beauty products, clothing… The list of products for sale is extensive.

Cutlery as jewelry

Elsa Bellino, 36 years old, a member of the Soutien Click and Collect 06 group, is a jewelry designer in her family business, “Bellino Rodolphe”, which has been in Nice since 1936. Her concept is based on recycling old metal cutlery and other materials. Once recycled, they are transformed into modern and precious jewelry. A handcrafted process that takes three to four hours, providing much value for the young jeweler.

Once listed, the products are sold on the website etsy.com at prices ranging from 40 to 250 euros. Rings, necklaces, brooches, bracelets… A multitude of fully handmade items are available on the homepage.

Following the lockdown, Elsa, supported by her father Alain, who works in sculpture, decided to embark on this support project for small Nice merchants. “As a Nice shopkeeper, I’ve been crafting since 2009 alongside my job in the catering industry. Throughout the year, I sell 200 to 300 pieces of jewelry, knowing it’s a passion activity beyond my real job.”

A golden opportunity to gain visibility

In addition to all the financial benefits it can bring, these announcements are also an opportunity to showcase one’s talents, work, and business. It’s a chance to attract more customers. “I quite often receive requests from clients and merchants who weren’t aware of me before. Since I just joined the Soutien Click and Collect group, I plan to post more announcements to spark interest.”

Significant changes have yet to come for Elsa. It will depend on the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic. The young artisan has already received some feedback and appointments from people who saw her first announcement and showed interest in her jewelry. With her business and craftsmanship, Elsa hopes her masterpieces will achieve great success before the holidays.
