“Click and Collect Niçois”: tasting of desserts for a gourmet Christmas

Latest News

In Nice, the local culinary group, Gusto Family, is officially opening its e-Boutique on December 7th. Thanks to its online ordering system and on-site pickup, you will soon be able to share a moment of pure happiness by savoring the delicious desserts offered among many others on the menu.

Far from the new “delivery meals” habits, and closer to the Click and Collect system, the Nice-based group Gusto Family is finally opening its own e-Boutique. Their online system will allow you to order homemade desserts (Boccaccio, Galet, Voglia, and Favola) specially created for the occasion.

Opening scheduled for December 7th

The Gusto Family e-Boutique will open its doors this Sunday with pre-orders available for delivery or takeout starting December 16th. These will be handled at the group’s flagship restaurant, Boccaccio, located on Masséna Street. An idea that emerged during the first lockdown, implemented by the director, Philippe Cannatella, which has been accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It’s a project we had planned for 2021. The idea was to develop the #GustoFamily spirit by adapting to new consumption codes and habits. We thus imagined a digital platform where products evolve with the seasons. The health conditions of this year allowed us to use our time to refine our concept and enable us to be alongside the people of Nice again this Christmas.”

A special Christmas collection

Everyone knows the Christmas spirit continues to be threatened by the presence of the virus. To preserve it, Philippe Cannatella, with the support of his team, especially Pascal Hairabedian, pastry chef at Gusto Family for five years, has decided to launch a gourmet and festive Christmas collection available on the online platform.

This collection includes unique desserts, such as three sharing yule logs: two pastry-based varieties (one with chestnuts, the other with gianduja vanilla) and an iced mandarin meringue log. It will be complemented by a Panettone, a selection of a dozen homemade ice creams and sorbets, and desserts like the Saint-Honoré, the Opéra, the Triple Chocolate Craquelin, the Gianduja Genoa cake, and the Lemon Meringue Tart.

To stay in the spirit of Christmas indulgence, the group also offers a tasting of shared seafood dishes (shellfish, lobsters, whelks, and more).
