Friday, May 11, 2012, Mr. Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, will present the climbing activities in the Departmental Natural Parks (PND) of Alpes-Maritimes.
-A new way to explore the PND
The Departmental Natural Parks of the Grande Corniche, the Rives du Loup, and the Estérel have been developed to offer the opportunity to practice natural site climbing. 130 routes, representing 2,500 meters of climbing, have been marked and signposted to offer both sports enthusiasts and the general public a new way to enjoy nature.
A partnership with the French Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing
During this presentation, an agreement will be signed with the French Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (FFME), which will be responsible for promoting and encouraging the practice of climbing in these three parks, as well as canyoning in the 37 canyons listed in the Randoxygène guide “clues and canyons,” published by the General Council.
