Fauna, flora, and landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes: this is what characterizes the photos of the three artists exhibited at the Maison du département et de la montagne. Patrick Damiano, Jean-Marie Solichon, and Philippe Richaud are all passionate about nature, each having discovered it in a different way.
For Patrick Damiano, it’s a family affair, as it was his father who introduced him to walks in the Mercantour. For Philippe Richaud, the discovery of nature has always been a passion. Jean-Marie Solichon, Director of the Exotic Garden of Monaco, quickly combined his passion for botany with photography.
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Mercantour National Park, the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes decided to provide a showcase of the Park in the city center. The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to noon.
