After singing, dancing, art, sports, travel, conferences… the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the city of Nice organized the first senior theater competition. The closing of this week of theater will take place on Friday, October 19th at the Nice Theater, Michel Simon Hall, with a series of comic sketches, between laughter and tears.
The goal remains the same for these seniors: to bring color to their retirement by allowing them to go all the way and fully realize themselves.
Thus, since last Friday, October 12, four senior troupes, “Les Comédiens du hasard,” “l’Albatros,” “Poivre et sel,” and “the Niçois Office for the Elderly” have taken up this new challenge and presented their shows to the public in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Nice, and Vence.
If there is one place where anything is possible, it is the theater… New vocations were born during this week and the jury will have a hard time deciding which troupe will win the first prize of this competition…
Afternoon Program:
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Comedy show by the “Passtout” from the Philippe Bouvard Theater.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Announcement of the results.
