“Color Smile”: when studying rhymes with solidarity

Latest News

Within the framework of a project necessary for the final qualification of their degree, students in the Master 2 “Informational and Strategic Audit” program have created a humanitarian organization called “Couleur Sourire”.

In partnership with the IAE, a money collection will be organized throughout the week to gather as many funds as possible to buy and send kits composed of colored pencils and coloring books to Ethiopian children, specifically from Gondar, the 2nd city of Ethiopia.

The idea for this association sprouted in the mind of Julie Guedj, the president, during a private trip to the Gondar region. Shocked and saddened by the misery and poverty she faced, she wanted to do something upon her return to France. She made a promise to bring a little bit of happiness to the children who lack it so much in that part of the world. Contacts have been established with an orphanage to assess the needs of the population.

The association survives solely on donations, mainly financial. Thus, these young people call on everyone’s generosity to bring smiles back to the faces of these children severely affected by the unending crises that have shaken their country for many years. At the end of the operation, Julie Guedj will travel to Gondar to ensure the proper delivery of the assembled packages.
