This Monday, August 28 at 7:00 PM at Carrefour du 28 Août (Corner of Bd Gambetta – Bd Joseph Garnier) to pay tribute to the women and men who liberated Nice and our country, the Nice section of the PCF is organizing a popular commemoration.
On August 28, 1944, after four years of occupation, the Resistance liberated the city of Nice from Nazi barbarism.
The Liberation opened the door, in Nice and throughout the country, to a tremendous period of reconstruction and progress for our people, in line with the program of the National Council of Resistance.
To not forget where ideologies that promote exclusion and racism lead us, and to keep in mind that there is no human emancipation without justice and social progress,
