The shooting on March 26, 1962, will be commemorated at 10:30 AM in the Alsace Lorraine Garden in Nice.
Personalities, leaders, and members of the associations of Repatriates and Harkis will pay tribute to the dozens of people who lost their lives on that tragic day and the hundreds who were injured.
A wreath in memory of the victims of the tragic events on Rue d’Isly, located in the center of Algiers, will be laid at the stele in the Alsace Lorraine Garden.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a mass will be held at the Saint Pierre d’Arène Church.
